I just told y'all how the restaurant I used to manage just went up.. Major ongoing story in bmore. The owner left employees unpaid.. There was like a major tax lien on the place.. Had to file bankruptcy for like 1.9 M

But he still owns the name. If dude licks his wounds, settles his debt. And wants to get back at it.... As long as he can use the same name... It's really not over. The name is everything. And as long as UNC has that. Bro SHOULD be good.

Which is where he fucked up.... Now he gotta try to build his name back up. And that's harder to do than anything. He needs a social media marketing team honestly... Get him back out there.. Trademark something catchy... And make it all his this time. It's a lotta work... But if that's what he wants... That's what he has to put in.

The tragedy of the situation is that most people don't wanna put that marketing work in. They just wanna do them and will, they don't and go the hustle behind the scenes... And again, that's where he fucked up. White dude did all the behind the scenes work that leads to you having a big name, while Unc just played it up for the cameras....


You gotta do both. He was essentially a mascot. It's like if Ronald MacDonald was just a nigga who dressed up like a clown and did commercials but had nothing to do with the real marketing and overall business side of it... Then was like

Yo they say McDonald's has billions of customers served, but I only get $100 a commercial.... I'm Ronald, how they shorting me??

He thought he was a partner, but never was on paper.

I can't blame him honestly.. Dude prolly had the recipe for decades. And when it started blowing up, he really thought it was cuz of his work and never thought to consider a contract. And by then it was way too late.

And again, had he been about his business from the jump, it's likely he never would have blew up... They didn't want someone business minded. They wanted a nigga with good food.

My wife's uncle was mean on the grill, and I wanted to do the same with him. Only I was definitely gonna cut him in, even if he was mainly in the kitchen. I was already learning that business, so I was looking into food trucks shit.... Then COVID happened, and that shit took unc....
