I bet when they travel as a group they do that mess all the time. Grabbing whatever seats they can at purchase, then they try to shuffle shit when they get on the flight. I don't cosign that.

People choose and pay for their seats. For that flight, it's theirs. It's up to them if they want to accommodate or not. Airplane staff should have 0 input. If someone says no to the deal, staff can't go around being immature treating said passengers differently.
