If they were smart they’d say they want to ban elective abortions that weren’t ordered by a doctor. That would solve a lot of their problems and dampen the left’s attacks on their policy.
But republicans know their supporters don’t operate in nuance so they don’t. And Democrats know their supporters don’t operate in nuance either so they say nothing about elective abortions and only talk about these admittedly sad scenarios.
