Brooklyn summer nights in the 80s & 90s was beautiful. And when I mean beautiful, I'm talking about Wingate Park after the 4th of July. Every Mondays was a concert. All the carribbean folks came to Wingate Park. I just so happen to live across the street on Rutland Rd between Brooklyn & Kingston Ave.

I seen a lot of great reggae and hip hop artist perform there like the Soca King Mighty Sparrow and my personal favorite, Biggie Haitian.

I remember my cousins tryna be Rastas and using the gel from aloe plant for their dreads. LoL

They were big fans of Bigga Haitian and when this came out, I couldn't stop repeating
