Yes the last one. The spy thing I think was a cover for what Papa really wanted. Henry was the key to everything he was doing.

Does make you wonder why if they think 11’s blood could work like Henry’s why Papa wouldn’t have used her after Henry was gone.

I mean its supposed to be a high stakes plan that ultimately plays out not an easy one. At this point we pretty much know how its going to go its just a matter of who or if anyone dies along the way at this point. I don't really need the science behind it. Its not real lol.

Like somebody else said, he’s probably the ruler of the abyss who’s really in control. He’ll be like the final boss. And somebody else said Henry will probably have a redemption arc where he turns against the mind flayer to defeat him.

Idk if you can defeat or kill the mind flayer but you don’t need to, you just need to get rid of the upside down.

The MF was just fine chilling in its own dimension until the real villains, the US government came along fucking shit up as usual

They won't defeat it they will just destroy the bridge and assume its dead. Mindflayer will be back in 10-15 years with kali as the new vecna.

Hollywood gonna Hollywood. They're too greedy not to leave it open ended and close all loose ends. The duffer bros and Netflix would be stupid not to leave that in their back pocket.

The military is also a villain and that’s the only way to defeat them. Otherwise the military always going to be looking for 11. 8 was right about that.

Plus she could possibly re-open the bridge so she needs to be gone.

Starts with her, ends with her.

If I'm not mistaken, that's literally what he was doing. She always talked about the weird tests he would do on her. Maybe we missed it being directly related to her blood... But I kinda think that's why the search for her was so intense because if how important she was to the entire project.
 
Yeah, is going to be Henry sacrificing himself to close the bridge and lock himself in the abyss with the mind flayer...

And the inevitable spin off will be whenever the fuck they make it back.... Hopefully it's not thru 8. She can be the "big death" 🙄
 
So apparently this season was cut up by Netflix episodes was supposed to do a lot more explaining but Netflix edited a lot of important things out.

Don't know if that's a cop out for how bad the scenes are but you can tell how things jump from scene to scene that bad editing was going on.

There's no reason to take things out IMO. It wasn't a theatrical release
 
Guys I have something to tell you all, but I’m gonna make it unnecessarily more dramatic than necessary, but after watching season four again and hearing the complaints people have about season 4 and especially 5 …..::…I have to let my truth be known A truth I have been hiding for a very very long time …I……..l …I still like this show
 
It's a cool show. But they dropped the ball bad with the writing. They threw shit in there that wasn't there to begin with. They added a limited release stage play that added lore and back story that the show didn't. They dropped plans for major characters and spin offs then forced them into the new story.

It's not a complete mess.... But it's a mess.
