That's why they're going to do it. They've been fattening him up for the kill so to speak. Like hopper was describing to the inmates what was being done to them with the big supper. They're making us love him just to rip him away.

It's like how they did dude in top boy this season. Except no one saw that shit coming at all they just bodied him lol.

I can see Hopper really dying before Steve.

Same emotional impact and 11 has a caretaker and will be almost grown by next season if not already 18.

I could see Steve dying to save Dustin or Nancy,but I don't want Steve to die.

That's Game of Thrones levels of pain.

Again with hopper they could have did that several times already. I hope they don't waste our time like that.
 
Nah my money is on Eddy getting bodied in the final episodes. All season he talked about how he runs away from the fight and then we saw him dive into the water gate for Steve. He'll probably be the one to save Nancy with the music.

I think he's just being slotted as Steve's replacement.
 
Oh and the Cali crew may want to check out their contracts because they straight jerked them this season. They got like 10 minutes an episode and were never seen again

They will lean into that group more as hopper and nem make their way back and the boys figure out where el is. I don't think it's anything to worry about.
