STARZ - Power Book III: Raising Kanan (Season 5, 6/12)

I slightly understand some people disdain on how Breeze was introduced into the Power Universe, but I still rock with his debut. That nigga pulled up on the block in a red Porsche 💪.

When Kanan said that Breeze was strong. Strong as got the streets on lock.
 
Someone pointed out that the tombstone says the grandma died in 1992

But Kanan is wearing the 9s which if I remember correctly the 9s came out in late 93 so this is taking place at least in at least in winter 94

Thru bout to fuck up the ret con of this show
 
Niggas is saying that the old lady that Kanan kills in the OG power is Pops

Goofy theory but would be goated if they find away to make it work

One thing we need to keep in mind about this show is that, even though it's a prequel to the original Power, the storylines aren't really pre-written.

They're just making up a lot of the history as they go along.



Meaning, even though we were introduced to Kanan in the original Power, the other characters in the Raising Kanan series hadn't even been conceived of yet.

There was no Raq.......or Marvin.........or Lou.........or Famous.............etc........ until they actually put the Raising Kanan series into production.


So there's always going to be somewhat of a disconnect since none of the history was even conceived of in the original power.

The only thing we knew was that Ghost and Tommy killed Breeze...........and set up Kanan to get locked up.


Haven't seen anything in the series that would justify Kanan killing Juke to save Tariq.

In the Kanan show, they're cousins, but more like brother and sister.

Can't see him killing Juke like that.

Only thing I dont agree with is bolded. They shown his char arc with Tariq even until his end in original power...

The back story of why he killed her in this series wouldn't make sense. They were cool up until she tried to kill Tariq kinda thing.

Tariq is the son he never had why he killed his own. I could go in Lil further but hoped this makes sense. If not will go in bag to explain.

So a thing somewhere that Breeze is an undercover J Reed type and that’s y he ultimately gets killed

Juke and Kanan have a fall out/ fight where she slices his face before she moves to DC

This is why the last season will be crazy....once Marvin gets killed Juke will definitely be on some murder shit that will complete her dark side and they already showed kanan and juke starting to fall apart when he waved the gun at her so shit is gonna be deep in season 5.....plus they gotta show how juke gave kanan that permanent scar he got on his neck in the og power series
