This is like Run DMC kicking Jay (RIP) out the group

Whatever happened to family first?? S&P always pulling this shit

So the real question is; If you were gonna smash one of them, who would it be?

Salt N Pepa were huge when I was in high school. They had a couple of songs in 86/87. But when Push It dropped in the fall of 87 it was a wrap. Push It initially wasn't on the album and it was the B-side to a song called Tramp, which had a video. When Push It blew up the record label recalled all of their albums and put Push It on the album.

From that point onwards they were the female version of Run DMC. Sure there were other female rappers and rap groups like Finesse & Synquis , MC Lyte, Antoinette, Sweet T, Queen Latifah, Yo Yo and whoever else, but Salt N Pepa sold the most records and got the most radio play. Salt N Pepa represented a whole generation of females for the first half of the 90s and I guess TLC took over in the second half of the 90s.

This gives me the idea for a poll
