Chewy bacon. I hate thin sliced bacon with a passion. I love applewood or cherrywood smoked thick cut bacon or duck bacon.

any of y'all up on buying bacon ends and pieces? You can get 'em in a vacuum pack at walmart for like $7 for 3lbs. Albersons and pretty much every Mexican grocery store sells 'em overwrapped for something like $1.50-$2/lb. Basically it's the bacon leftovers after butchering. Sometimes there's regular slices in it, but it's mostly chunks. You can end up with pieces of bacon 1" thick. Typically I cook with it (especially when I'm making fresh, sauteed spinach), but if I have a craving for bacon in something I'm frying that shit up.
