Do The Right Thing is third because he showed the complexities of being a BM in Brooklyn. Drama with your BM, issues with your sister, issues at work. Just a stellar movie.

Mo Betta Blues, especially the dynamic of a hating ass nigga and the dynamic of two women where one is a wife and the other is a harlot. Just an overall great movie.

Malcolm X is gotta be number one. Not even an argument. You saw the spiritual, emotional, mental dealings that black man have in this society. A way in which Jungle Fever I don’t think fully expresses the same sentiments. You saw Detroit Red and his metamorphosis as a man who needed to conquer his lustful aspect to become the man he was as Malcolm. Just overall great movies. He Got Game would be 4th and Jungle Fever would be five.
