Spend That (Wicked ass Song or Is that Your Jam)

Yeah, I wouldn't want any song with cursing, 'nigga', 'bitches', etc, played for a room full of 10 year olds.
Im with you on that and I dont want those same kids nor teens listening to the song talking about seeking out scamming ass niggas, which can push that 10 year old boy to become a scamming ass niggas because of the song being so called fun and cool
Ppl, especially kids are impressionable

That affects things or adds to it

Why are we in here talking about children?

Is your position that children shouldn't be listening to Spend Dat? Because if so, we're on the same page.

Black Culture and The Black Community need a hard reset but that'll never happen

Its over

I feel you on that,

You go to a Yung Miami concert right now, I am willing to bet that before that song is played, she says to the crowd, "Where all my Scamming ass Niggas at" and niggas go be in that bitch making noise like some felons.

We dont need more felons, we need more chefs, more car mechanics, more bus drivers.

You stated that the song didn't have any effect on the culture, if that's true, going by your post, that would mean that this song wouldn't effect children.

I was trying to understand your post on how this song wouldn't or doesn't have any effect on the culture but you dont want it being heard by children.

Two different answers you have given

To all the niggas who car service engine light is on and that rock to that song in this hot ass weather wearing shades , (no shade, do you) but is this some healthy shit for our society to be bumping?

What are you all thoughts on the song? Indie Arie made mention about the song

I myself think the song should be taken off the radio, along with many others but the focus is on this song.

2nd part question

Should this country be more strict and more against negative things?

Sitting in the barbershop talking to the old heads, they made mention about homosexuality being displayed on TV, how they can't watch a show, and they went to the realms of saying how it wasn't any shows or anything as such on TV, radio back in their day displaying any of this type of act. This isn't necessary an strike on the folks on here who are a part of that community, just an observation

I tried watching 4 Seasons on Netflix, that corny ass show, and it's like these folks (white folks, executives of these shows) are trying to usher in the wickedness of the Devil onto these platforms (imo)
whether it comes to our food, being poisoned, clothes being poisoned, etc.

Thoughts.

lol a song about trickin ain’t worse than a song about shooting niggas at grave sites. Bigger fish to fry. But conscious artists always critique what they think is bs.

I agree, you have no argument from me.

I think its all degenerate energy

I dont mind a rapper reporting something that goes on but you making summer anthems and jingles, nah that aint cool imo

I'm not sure what you mean by this.

How does saying the song hasn't affected 'the culture' mean that it won't affect kids? Maybe we're on two different pages about what 'the culture' means.

That's bonkers.

If that's the case the entire world needs a hard reset on some Noah's ark shit. Cuz you not gonna have me believe our culture is worse than any large ethnic group on the planet

Who we needa be more like?
Who's setting a better example than us?

Possible

When i think of culture, i think of people, way of life, food, sayings, clothing, living style Etc.

This song affects an aspect of black culture, which is the people, way of life

Seven pages in under 24 hours about this?

Got it. Words mean things.'Culture' has a meaning. And it doesn't include the actual people who adhere to that culture.

A culture is just a set of beliefs, rituals, values, customs, etc, that a group of people mostly adhere to. If we're talking about black culture...absolutely nothing is different about black culture since that song was released than it was before the song was released.

And this a crazy stance to have with a lot of the takes you make. I get you don’t want to see gays or feminism. But had no issue with hoodie hiring goes for his son bday party. That’s confusing morals.
