And nothing changed from any of those discussions either. Which is why we ask why is this song getting so much attention? What is it about this song that got everybody in an uproar when it’s mild compared to the other shit that’s come out in the past?

The question should be why the song is being pushed as hard as it is when its not a good song by a good artist by any metric.

But the answer to your question is virality. The song is very viral atm so naturally it's being talked about more. Same as WAP was a topic of discussion, same as when When I See You was a discussion, same as when munch was a topic of discussion and so on. The more viral a song is the more discussions about it hit your timeline. Just because you've heard the discussion less about other and worst songs doesn't mean that isn't a sentiment people are having about said songs.

Yeah you right, but it seems like in this case it’s just viral for viral sake. At least in those other songs you mentioned there was something different or more outrageous that spurred the virality. This song not introducing anything that hasn’t been mentioned a million times in songs. Women been talking about rolling with criminals since forever. It’s classic women wanting a bad boy.

This topic has illicited more discussion than it’s worth.

You just made up an entire story lol. I said her song Video samples Put It In Your Mouth. And given her past statements on things like this, she had a similar commentary on Essencd Fest a couple years ago, it actually isn't a stretch to say the song would be her attempt at flipping the message of a song screaming "just put it in your mouth" lol.

Thats not the music exec I'd envision myself being so NO, but that attitude would probably take me out the running for being a music exec.

It's not for the empathetic. It's for people that champion fiscal bottom lines above everything. That ain't me.

And aside from all that its just not a good song. So we gotta ask why its being pushed so hard?
