I don't get annoyed often but this is annoying cause you accusing me of baiting when you can go to any political thread and see knock is the one that's baiting.

You just said in one post why can't we just have a straight up convo without whataboutism when that's exactly what knock is doing with these scenarios that only support his position which is why he's commonly called a bad faith debater. When he doesn't like the points being made, then it's "if you owned a record label, would you put the song out". Had I actually answered the question, his next question would've been "if you owned a record label and you could only put out one song a year that everybody likes, would you have put this song out".

She has never been known as a good rapper or somebody rapped about substance. The last half decade she been more known for being Diddy latest arm candy. Which is why it's funny when her entire career been these types of songs and now people are upset.

Nah. Im saying that painting this song as some indictment on Black folks as a whole is stupid. One song can't do that. And I've held that stance consistently on multiple topics. I dont rock with the "this song/movie/, etc set Black people back" mentality. I think much higher of us than that. The song is trash, but people enjoy trash music all the time.

And what Du said, and i agree with, is that this song ain't making nobody do nothing but shake ass. A woman or man who wanted to scam or boost was gonna either do it or not regardless of whether this song came out. And a woman or man who never thought about it won't go do it because this is a hit song for a few months.

There is also a level of hypocrisy in general because again there's been worse content and currently is worse currently being celebrated. If you gonna call out degenerate content call all of it out not just the songs you don't like.
