I mean we use it, but tu is used more.

For some reason, I've become very interested in it, especially when i found out that it's not just an Argentina and Uruguay kind of thing. I wanted to switch to using it if it was commonly used.

I always associated it with Spanish (as in Spain) people talking that way

Just from what I've read, they don't use it in Spain and the Carribean. But it's real big in Central and S. America. I took it like the Latin American version of Spanish since vosotros isn't used over here.
