Songs You Thought Were Gonna Be A Hit

@Don Dada @5th Letter

I slow dance with the devil
Snow sittin in the bezzle
Mo sippin phantom
Bumpin Aaron Nevelle
Polo black scented eyes squinted
Air Force 1's with my own patent in it
Fresher than a star glowing up in the galaxy
Pagan holidays
Are way far from my reality
Fart through Evisu jeans
Lethal green
Oliver peoples shades when I creep through Queens

this on my workout playlist

this shit go!!

come to think of it, this was the only song on that project i kept
Man you didn't keep Valet Interlude?
That's the best song on that album. Shame it wasn't a full song. I used to have that shit on repeat.

I'ma have to listen to it again

I was so disappointed in the project tbh fam

I think a lot of it has to do with the artist's social skills.

I can imagine that if you don't get along with your A&R and other people in the industry then your song could be hotter than the Sun but due to label politics, they stop promoting your song because you can't get along with certain people.

Does that make sense?

I think the reason that Cam'ron song didn't pop off is because he got blacklisted for going at Jay, Nas and 50.

Dude can rhyme his ass off and he knows how to make a catchy song, but he can't buy a hit.

He needs to publicly reconcile with all the people he dissed. I know he got back together with Jay for that B-sides tour and performed Welcome To New York City, but he really shot himself in the foot with You Gotta Love It.
