So Black Men are going to get the blame if Kamala Harris loses to Donald Trump in November

That's mostly because Kamala has been M.I.A. for almost all of Biden's presidency. And fighting to keep people in prison when the courts are telling to let them go isn't a "mistake."

Kamala is the same chick that was trying to go after black single mothers for truant kids. You'd think these particular black women would have a problem with her too, but I guess gender solidarity matters more to them. They could at least get Kamala to voice what she's going to do for black people, but I don't think they care honestly. They just want the novelty of having a black woman as president.

Like get to the point lol. Would you rather trump or kamala be president? Yall need to stop meandering and arguing for the sake of arguing.

Shitty options across the board. Now months away from the election you're faced with 2 whose regimes you will have to live under for the next 4 years at least.

Vote for Kamala Harris. Yall arguing that plenty of idiots that need to be in prison and she was doing her job. Yall love chaos and black people tet the brunt of the trauma.

You kinda missing the point. You admit that it's "Shitty options across the board", which is the issue.

Will people in here vote Kamala over Trump, sure. But will people vote at all, well that's a different story. The shit she's done doesn't inspire people to vote, and the dismissive attitude some have to real concerns doesn't help either.

You ask "Who would you rather as the next president", and the answer is why were people ignored when the issue of Biden not running again came up last year? Why were the primaries fixed for Biden? Why were we lied to about his condition and called out our name if we question him running again? Like just two weeks ago the same people chastising anyone not on Team Kamala now, was saying Biden is the guy, period. The disrespectful way politico OPs treat voters is the issue. We're supposed to fall in line, because they forced two bad option on us. And if option A fails, well that's on Black men who had zero say in picking the ticket?

The bold isn't accurate. Like I said yesterday there's alot to criticize her for but when folks just run with easily disproved narratives it doesn't help at all

Man how can you sidestepped every point I made, and boil it down to "take your ball and go home"? lol

There has been no process for us. People lied about Biden's condition. Yelled at us if we questioned him running again. Didn't allow real primaries that would have given us actual 2nd, 3rd, 4th, ....options. And waited til 4 months out of the election to say vote for Kamala.

Like I said, that's not on us, it's on the political machine. The people running this shitshow aren't black men so don't blame us is Kamala fails. No one is owed a vote, it's earned. No president in my lifetime has looked out for my well-being, so why would I stress this one if both options are garbage?
 
And black men will overwhelmingly come out in support of Kamala if not on their own behalf, but on the behalf of the mountain of legitimately respected black man and women that will come out on her behalf. I know they got surprise mutfuckas in the tuck that never said nothing bout nothing involving this shit that’s gonna lay shit down.

It's internet fodder that people take and run with. I made a thread a year or so ago that had a video of Steve O'Bannon saying their plan was to get more of the Black male vote and they've tried it by appealing to the whole "You're being emasculated" nonsense. But it's not working the way they intended.

Bruh, you can't make erroneous comments and then tell people to stop arguing when they correct you.

And voting isn't just "Pick one of the two candidates." Again, that's why black people make no progress. We constantly give our vote without demanding anything back. Kamala is a far better candidate, but we shouldn't just make her feel like our votes are guaranteed for her without her having consider our demands or desires as part of her agenda. Black people still getting murdered by cops with impunity. If she's tired of the criticism she receives for her actions as a D.A., how about she prioritize pushing the criminal justice reform that Biden let flounder and disappear?

Come on man. Here's an example of someone defending Kamala's stance in that matter.


[Harris] fought for this law, which raised the financial penalty and made it a criminal misdemeanor for parents, up to a year in jail, when their children missed at least 10 percent of school time. Big picture, [Peoples's case] was one of the most extreme examples of how this law was used. More broadly, what the law did was create a more standardized way for local law enforcement officials to get involved with making sure kids go to school every day. And so very few parents were arrested and perp walked in this really punitive and splashy way. But what did happen to a lot of families is that they were ushered into a system that asked parents: Why can't why can't you get your act together? Why can't you send your kids to school?

The person went on to justify the move by saying this:

I thought it was really interesting to look at [Harris's] involvement in this issue, because she didn't invent the idea of punishing parents when their kids miss school. California already had a law on its books. Her innovation was to build a really standardized way for local district attorneys to get involved in pressuring parents to make sure their kids go to school. And a lot of education advocates were happy that she brought attention to the issue, because they say attention is actually the number one way we solve truancy. They think it's really important to call people's attention to the fact that, Hey, it adds up when your kids miss school.

So where is the inaccuracy in what I said? Kamala didn't invent the concept of punishing parents for the truancy of their children, but she's the one that pushed for a harsher punishment that included jail time.

So what demands or desires can and should she meet and fulfil within the next 4 months that would secure your vote and in your opinion the votes of other Black Americans?

Let's talk solutions or paths to solutions.

The taking our ball and going home approach with no path to resolution is nonsensical.
