Okay so.... im still confused

Ive been smokin thca flower all week. Reading about it online. And listened to 5 different podcasts about THCA.

I still got questions.

So its not Marijuana. Its actually Hemp. Hemp and Marijuana are both cannabis sativa.

Im hearing that THCA flower actually requires that it gets picked earlier than u would a marijuana flower.

THCA flower actually loses a couple percentage points during the combustion process. So a 25% THCA actually smoked gives u about 23%Thc.
 
So why is THCA flower so much cheaper than regular?

If it wasnt harvested early like required would it be more dank? Or would it no longer be thca?
 
Just guessing but maybe its harder for THCA % to get as high as THC in traditional weed?

Some of the top of the line THCA flower is barely gettin to that 30% mark.

Im guessing thats the price point differences. Not sure tho.

I didnt order off of Lit Farms because the top shelf flower is only in low 20s for %
 
Tryn out sum flower from TheHempHut508. Was looking for the bud w the best % and most recent lab results. Should be in my hands by Friday

Don’t think too hard about this, my man. You are smoking WEED.


And don’t worry so much about thc %. It’s a whole nother marketing ploy that ain’t all that important when you consider the entourage effect and all that.

By the sounds of things, they are prematurely harvesting so that it stays “hemp” on paper and the dry weight of the thc stays below the legal limit.

Yea I guess the final stage of flowering is when some of that THCA converts into THC inside the plant.

So it not being fully developed can impact potency. And leave buds less dense. It being high in THCA also involves a tradeoff for being low in the other cannabinoids

I've also heard there are a lot of purps in THCA flower because those strains work best with the grow/harvest practices of THCA
