Ok so I broke and watched. Two things it confirmed I already figured from the first poster and the 1st trailer. There's definitely something else going on though especially in those day time scenes. I'm excited for this one.

In the films defense this trailer is for the general audience. From comments I'm seeing so far it's working quite well.
