I could nit pick but I rather not.. It was entertaining, not perfect... But it did it's job of being interesting enough to see it to the end.

Even if their vampire rules were kinda dumb. The action and direction was good. The actors and actresses did their job. I'll give it s solid 7/10

Peraline, Mary and the witch lol and even the Asian lady, all of them were looking right

Lots of melanin in the film and Coogler seems to make sure they are represented on film from Black Panther to this

I do have issues with the flick, but Ryan basically made a Culture Appropriation Vampire movie ....lots of allegories

Bravo for original flicks....more please

This is cinema. This reminds me why I love films.

This is a film that needs to be experienced on the big screen. The music in this pulsates through you. I got chills during the one-shot scene. Coogler took us through a ride of centuries of Black music in that scene. The cinematography, the production design, the score, the sound design - everything on point. Strong performances by the cast all-around. Coogler executed his vision

We need more original IP films but we can't get that if people don't support. These studios will only keep pumping out remakes and franchise slop if we don't go out and support directors with original films.

I love Marvel but I can't wait for Coogler to wrap up his Black Panther trilogy so he can get back to creating his own stories

What vampire rules were dumb?
Eating garlic, silever and wooden stakes.... But China girl wearing a crucifix means nuffin?

Twin vamp decided to instantly be a good vampire and dip with his girl cuz he lost a fight to his non vamp brother,?

Head vampire controls the fledglings... They feel the pain he felt with the silver guitar, and burning of the sun... But again twin vamp and hf8 are instantly immune.

It's like are they completely evil slaves or they have their own free will? Which one? Cuz they were both visibly shaken when he stabbed thicc girl before she could change... But I'm just lost on how quick they decided to be good.. Cuz he killed the head vampire AFTER his brother and the girl got away... So how strong was the slave trance...

Like did they have to be evil? Cuz it seemed real easy to give being evil up even before their big homie died.

Like it was a bit inconsistent.... Like they didn't really spend much time deciding what kinda vampires they were using

(The Color Purple + Life) x From Dusk to Dawn = Sinners.

Loved the backdrop story. Great job by MBJ from playing both brothers. The YT girl Stanfield in there talked some serious shit. The Asian lady Li had HEART without fucks given. And who knew Delroy Lindo could be this funny?

8.5/10

I enjoyed the flick, it was solid . Sadly I missed the mid and end credit scenes because I had to use the bathroom.

I’m not a horror fan because those types of films tend to be super predictable and sadly this followed suit.
