Two people were injured and one suspect was killed during a shooting at Joel Osteen's Lakewood Church on Sunday afternoon, Texas authorities say.
During a press conference, police chief Troy Finner said that the shooting began at 1:53 p.m. It happened at around the time that the Spanish language church service was scheduled to start.
The suspect, who was a woman, entered the church with a long rifle. She was wearing a backpack and a trench coat, and was accompanied by a "small child, approximately 4 to 5 years old," Finner said.
After she began shooting, off-duty officers at the scene "engaged" the woman and returned fire. The suspect was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said that two people were injured, including a 57-year-old man who was shot in the leg. The child that the shooter came with was also injured and remains in critical condition.
Finner also disclosed that the suspect mentioned that she had a bomb.
"Once she went down, officers reported back to us that she threatened that she had a bomb," the police chief explained. "So we searched her vehicle, our bomb squad, and also the backpack [she brought]."

The moment they re-defined a mass shooting as any shooting, regarless of motive or situation, where 4 or more people got hurt it ceased being a white male issue and immediately turned into a Black male issue.

Goes to show that they legit don’t want to ignore it. Because if they wanted to ignore. They would make it a black issue by adding in data for all the shooting involved in hoods where guys are doing drive bys or recklessly shooting at or in crowds.
Because combining those numbers would over inflate it so much, that it would call for new laws that push mass incarceration or heavy penalties. Thats what they do when they don’t care. Its an all inclusive swipe that they use black people to inflate numbers.
And news media, entertainment media, and social media eventually tires of the narrative and just accept it. Doesn’t revisit it or look deeper into it.

But because that hasn’t been done, they actually are interested in some comprehensive measure, but haven’t agreed in the back rooms on who’s getting what. They don’t really care about who dies in the mean time because people die.
But the overall problem, which doesn’t affect the wealthy and policy makers directly, they believe that something should actually be done.

According to the media there were 656 mass shootings. Now, we all know that's not the truth, there were really only a handful, but the reason the number is so large is because they're now including drive-by's, gang shootings, and regular street violence (i.e. nigga done shot up the club).
And who commits THOSE types of shootings more than anyone? Black men, with Latinos coming in second. And it ain't even the right pushing this narrative either, it's purely coming from the left 'cause the right and other 2A activists don't need this kind of shit. When you count the number of incidents where a gunman goes into a public place and starts shooting indiscriminately in order to kill as many people as possible the number of mass shootings falls to 12 for 2023, tying 2022.

They do add in all of that data, that's why I said we're now the face of mass shootings in America. Gang violence and street shit are the overwhelming majority of what are now considered "mass shootings". There was only 12 incidents last year that count as a true mass shooting. The other 640+shootings were gang related, street shit, and a couple of mass suicides.

I’m talking about adding it to the narrative, it’s added to the crime statistics, but crime statistics don’t push the narrative that causes action. If crime statistics pushed narrative, you’d see that more male teachers have had inappropriate relationships with kids than women. But what’s the narrative been for the past few years? Why do you think that is?
So nothing is actually done about it, even though it’s becoming increasingly an issue.

It's only been fairly recent that they've defined mass shootings in this way, so the narrative hasn't changed just yet because the need for it hasn't come up. But trust me, it's coming. There was no legitimate reason to define mass shootings like this; the only reason is to be able to shift the blame to Black folks.
