Shaq Faces Backlash For "Inappropriate" Comments Towards Angel Reese

Im not trying to make it anything else. Youre saying that you don't know what an improper response is despite also saying you know right from wrong. I already said right and wrong aren't as clear cut in every instance as you want it to be. So you repeating that back to me makes no sense. I also said that there's clear lines we as a society all basically agree on when it comes to interacting with a person. So using your pov of "be logical" then there would be a logical train of thought that can be followed to come to the conclusion that there are in fact times where a person's reaction to something does cross a line. If a woman posts a sexy pic of herself and somebody responds with a dick pic not only is that wrong it's actually illegal. So yeah there are definitely rules to this.

Hell your stance being based in social media doesn't even hold up because as private platforms they do in fact have rules that are enforceable based on how you interact with people. I never said your personal principles should dictate what others do. I did however say that there's certain shit that is objectively wrong and violates not only the rules of whatever platform you wanna use but also the social contract that people abide by daily in how they move in the world both online and off.

You are making it something else. I'm talking about response on social media, which is purely communication through text. You're throwing in groping and AI generated porn using people's images. If you can't see how you're on some other shit with the direction you're taking your arguments, I don't really see the point in continuing the discussion.

Be easy. 🤝

There is literally no social contract for behavior online. Sorry, but that's some bullshit right there and you know it. The internet has been the wild west ever since people have been able to access any part of it. Dick and titty pics flying back and forth ever since ICQ, Black Planet/Migente/Asian Avenue and Yahoo Personals; truthfully even longer than that 'cause it was definitely happening back in the early AOL days... Shit was on Friendster, Myspace, Facebook, and any other social platform you can name.

The social contract only really applies to in-person interactions, even in this day and age. Like... These same niggas talking shit to chicks posting on IG know better than to say that shit in person. Why? Because there are no expectations online whereas they know that such behavior face-to-face could elicit a physical response. Niggas ain't out here walking up to chicks in booty shorts, with exposed underboob, etc and whippin out their dicks to impress her (Drunk niggas and weirdos maybe yeah, but not the average sober individual). That said, some of these GenZ and younger niggas been acting like there are no repercussions for their actions on or off line and they behave accordingly... And get fucked up and wonder why.
