Damn wish I’d played these games because the episodes were dope. Would have been nice to make the connection. Hopefully they do games casuals are familiar with if they do another season. A lot of these were really similar because they were mech and fps related.

Only ones I recognized and played were D&D, Unreal Tournament, and Armored Core

Unreal Tournament might have been my first fps. I used to dominate in that game lol

Never really got into Pac-Man. Don't know anything about the others

PAC-Man is the only one I did know about, but there’s not really much to know. Just a yellow mouth eating pellets and ghosts in a maze.

Dungeons and Dragons I only know about passively because it’s referenced so much in media.

That Outer Worlds episode was so depressing.

The Mega Man origin episode was dope, just wish it was a bit longer
Agree on the Mega Man episode, would have loved for it to be longer.

Mad Kratos only got 2 seconds of screen time. I noticed that Little Big World character but that’s all I recognized outside of Kratos.

Only game i was familiar w 1st batch was PACMac. Loved the ep. Never gonna look at the game the same way.

Arnold swarzenegger ep was my favorite so far. So much character development and humor. Lovin the series so far.

Exodus. -Was kind of meh about it

Spelunky: Tally -
Was interesting because it's like how when you game and die lol

Concord -
Made no sense to believe they'd turn on their captain with some new guy but the end was another wholesome feelgood episode

Honor of Kings -
This was really good. Liked the city and the ending

Playtime -
Another really good one. So that was the God of War reference they mentioned. Little disappointed it was in this collection episode even if the episode was really good. Helldivers was funny

Just watched Megaman, Pac Man, and Unreal Tournament

Megaman: Dope, but needed to be longer. Even just 5 more minutes of him fighting someone like Snakeman or someone like that would have set it off so much better.

Pac Man: Shit this was dark and grim as fuck. I appreciate the far different take on it, but fuuuuck this shit was crazy. Even more so when you realize what you're really looking at.

Unreal Tournament: This was dope as shit. UT99 is one of my favorite games of the last 25 years, to the point where I still play it semi-regularly. Realizing this was a take on a bot match was one thing, but having a variation of the map Facing Worlds in it sent my brain into geek overload. This was one of the best things I've seen all year.

Going back to the first batch of episodes, the Crossfire episode looked like it happened in an area looking like Florida in a middle of a hurricane lol

I didn't know you could still play the game

Yup, and Epic must have changed their minds on shutting down the UT99 match servers 'cause that's what I'm pulling servers from. Someone set up an alternate joint when Epic said they were shutting them down but I haven't had a chance to use it. I also fired up one of my old PC's that has UT2004 on it and those servers are still online too. Not many people on there but you can still get a match it you look for it.
