A machine cleans ur blood when ur kidneys can no longer do so is my understanding of it...
You gotta spend some time daily/weekly hooked up to a machine where the machine takes ur blood, cleans it and puts it back in ur body. Some folks have to go to the hospital to get their dialysis treatment.. others have dialysis machines at home

3 times a week....Someone gets their blood removed from their body...Into a machine that filters impurities....Then puts the blood back in. Takes about 4 hrs .
