Rest In Power to a legendary college coach. Helped put Philly basketball on the map at Temple.
 
RIP John Chaney. Always had Temple right at the cusp of the Final Four. The teams he had with Mark Macon were a problem for most teams.

Two of my niggas were the managers for the Womens team so they actually knew him and Dawn...

...but as a regular student, you see him pop up every now and then and it was like Suge was walkin' down the block as far as his presence and aura, but everybody loved him like Pac so it was always cool as fuck.

It was like "yo get out his way" but not outta fear, outta respect and love...

...the wild story is that the "goon" he sent in that one game was my nigga Nehemiah - and Nehemiah was one of the nicest people you'd ever meet, he was just big as hell - that shit was crazy.
