I think a lot of football players come out of private institutions (I.e. private high schools), introduced to myriad of new faces and facets, and white women are one of them. By time they arrive in college, someone has played themselves onto their side and continue to benefit from the relationship because as someone mentioned, the newfound affluence brings unwanted attention from devious people.

As to why they fall for white women so early? Probably exposure but I’m sure each has their own unique tale that may involve some deeply rooted sentiment
