On a technical level Redman is a tough cat to beat. It takes the likes of Ghostface, Eminem, BDK, or Rakim to out gun him. Ain't too many out there that can flip shit like Redman. Shit there's still shit Red got in his songs that I'm just now getting. Red and GZA both got songs that still deliver over 20 years later.

X? Ain't shit of his technical like that. He gets over on that rawr-rawr shit and making "anthems". Once you hear an X joint, you pretty much got it unless you're slow. I've never once had to rewind a DMX joint like "yo, did he just say...". Nope, I get it on the first listen every time.
