I just started chapter 3 yesterday. Not sure if im allowed back in valentine after i shot that place the fuck up. Whole town got it.

  2. I Tried Helping Out This African American Lady And Accidentally Hit The Wrong Button And Began To Choke Her (WTF?)...She Ran Off Screaming For Help And We Were Close To A Plantation But None Of Them Peckerwoods Nearby Did Anything To Help...SMMFH ....R* Trying To Keep It All The Way 100

Last night to finally get him to be my main horse


And I agree with what was said earlier that going from Spider-Man to this game made it hard to get into at first, didn’t really come back to RDR and get into it until I finished the Black Cat dlc. After you’re out of the snow in the beginning of the game and can move around on your own the game is dope.

I managed to get the arabian horse on my first attempt. I was super slow with it though. For anyone that hasnt gone and gotten one yet, what i did was find one and got off my horse. Walk super slowly up to it, no running at all. You should be able to lock on to it from a good distance away so keep hitting L2 until you lock on and study it. Then inch your way closer to him and eventually the "Calm" option will pop up. Hit it the instant its available, you'll see a bar appear that drains, if it drains all the way itll run away. Calming it will replenish that bar. I calmed it maybe 10 times before i got close enough to pat it. Patted it a few times then hopped on. It will try to buck you off but just keep moving it into an open area and itll eventually give in. Super good horse. I dunno if its just mine, but my Arabian is way smaller than a lot of other horses.
 
Yup took me a while to get it because I’d spook the horse before I could even read the prompt of what to do

Then when I finally got on the bitch it bucked and I fell off the first time lol

They say that’s the best horse in the game though. I gotta stock up on horse revivals to make sure nothing happens to it I’m gonna be hot if it dies on me
 
Tips (Spoiler-less) Most Of These Are Common Sense But You Never Know

  1. You Can Pay Off Your Bounties At The Post Office/Train Stations
  2. Make Sure You Feed/Pet/Rest Your Horse, Also Make Sure You Have Stimulant In Case The Mfers Gets Critically Injured Or Its PermaDeath
  3. Rest And Feed Your Arthur #pause Also...Gunfights And Ambushes Can Happen At Any Moment...You Don't Want To Be Killed Off Quickly After Playing 5 Plus Hours Cuz Your Character Aint Take A Nap Or Eat
  4. Don't Forget To Rob Trains For Quick Cash...A Decent Come Up Can Be Had
  5. When Hunting Shoot The Animals In the Head To Get A Perfect Pelt Otherwise Them Shits Is Practically Worthless

How the hell do you rob trains? ive done it in missions, but i rode my horse next to a train and couldnt figure out how to jump on it.

As Far I Know You Can Shave, Get A Haircut/Beard Trim And Change Your Outfit But Thats It

Next time you in a tight situation u can hop off and press either left or right one the d pad cant remember which.. itll tell your horse to flee but i aint gone lie i done got killed trying to do that shit and ended up losing my horse in the process still cause i didnt hit the button before dying
 
For the good pelts, study the animal before killing them. Once studied you will have 3 ratings: poor, good, pristine.

Take the pristine only and kill it with the recommended weapon in the study tip, that way you will gain perfect pelts.
