They're trying to get that Snyder Cut hype not knowing they undercut the 1st film and they can't hide behind "Oh, Whedon made the 1st film. This is Snyder's actual vision."

Agreed. Especially since he said the directors cut makes it like a different movie. The regular one is supposed to be more family friendly and the directors cut is going to be more graphic. He should have released the directors cut along with the regular version
