And btw there's a difference between a rapper and an MC. Fab is a rapper, 3K is an MC. Drake is a rapper, Lupe Fiasco is an MC. Drake makes better songs than Lupe but it may not mean better lyrics because he has to dumb it down for general consumption, but Lupe has had better displays of sheer lyricism although it may go over people's heads and be harder to make a hit record.

Both serve a purpose and have distinctions.

FIXED: You don't need to use lyrical, that is the focus on the emotional output of the poem or song. Lyricist is the focus of the words

This is an opinion and it's based on subjectivity. Conversely there are people who may not appear to be lyrically lyricist, but could rap circles around the so-called lyrical lyricist geniuses.

Just cuz you rap fast or have multi-syllable rhyme schemes don't mean your automatically a lyricist messiah or that you're saying anything.
