Nah, I said mad shit including Saadiq has hits in four different decades.

Your cappin ass came in and said "well curtis can say the same thing"

I said "word? prove it, what hits?"

Now that I pulled your card you're in here saying "man you only care about charts"

:smh:

I mean... Curtis don’t got a lot of hits in a sense of the top 100. He’s got songs that charted in R&B but that don’t necessarily make them hits. I voted for Curtis based off his classic songs but it’s a fact that Raphael has more top 40 hits & more number one R&B hits for that matter.

I voted for Curtis simply because I like his music more.

I don't care about who charted in four different decades.

I'd rather listen to a Curtis Mayfield Greatest hits CD than A Raphael Saadiq Greatest hits CD.

And i'm not shittin on Curtis cuz he didn't have alot of hits. I just named a few accolades that Saadiq has and one was having hits in 4 different decades. This nigga Goat is the only one making this a thing. Curtis never had a hit after 1975, it is what it is.

I guess the term "hit" can mean wudever u want it to be.

So we can agree to disagree.

Fact is he charted on R&B charts till he died.
