When a nigga pulls ur card you always run to "well i didn't really mean" "u know i dont really mean that". Whats the point of debating with a nigga who's too scared to stand by what he says?
nah...not today playa...i've been waiting on this shit
i got posts just from today...or rather this week...i forgot, i cant say today, and actually literally mean today or you will hold me to that
but you and either GOAT or Revolver had a nice lil back and forth where you tried defending your position b/c they held you to the same standard you hold to everyone else that if you say somebody got 10 wack tracks on an album, they ask you to name the 10, then you say you were exaggerating and werent being literal
point is, you are just as guilty as everyone for moving the goal posts when it suits your pov lol
BUT, my position has been clear in like two or three Pac threads where i've said, Pac, was a great artist...no doubt, BUT, he has flaws, strictly speaking from an emcee/rapper pov that you and the Legion of Pac refuse to acknowledge. I didnt shit on his influence or impact to the culture, but from a technical standpoint, Pac was just aight.
Did he tell dope stories? yes
Did he paint vivid pictures? Yes
Did he have hits? yes
Did he spawn a slew of copies? yes
but this is where i've tried to get ya'll to see...how easy/simple was his style that it was able to spawn so many clones? This is the Future/Migos arguement. Why do ALL the newer artists flock to their styles? Could it be that is quite simple to copy? Pac had countless clones, as evidenced by the stuff ya'll were saying about him in the other Pac thread.
I NEVER SAID PAC WAS WACK!! Lets make that clear, BUT, why can somebody make a mashup of lines Jay has said to "pay homage" to Big, and we good with that, but somebody bring up Pac's repetitive hennessy, enemy, Ecstasy , rhyme pattern, that ya'll get all up in arms about. It aint like im making the shit up.
