People in Boston would talk about Wu Tang, Rawkus and how they were the superior movements.
But they didn't follow Wu Tang nor Rawkus's model. If you think about it, all the Wu Tang albums had a few hit singles like Bring The Pain, C.r.e.a.m., Shimmy Shimmy Ya, Ice Cream, Heaven or Hell, etc. Rawkus had Mos Def, Talib Kweli and, well, Black Star. They put out a compilation of their greatest songs and they were all hot
