Random Movie/TV Show News

  • Netflix's refusal to embrace theatrical releases cost them the bidding war for Chris Hemsworth and Pedro Pascal's upcoming crime thriller, Crime 101, as Amazon's willingness to include a theatrical window in the deal gave them the edge.
  • By sticking to their streaming-only approach, Netflix is missing out on the opportunity to maximize the impact and success of their best movies, as acknowledged by even their own co-chief executive in the case of Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery.
  • As other studios enter the streaming market and offer longer theatrical residencies for their projects, Netflix needs to adapt its business plan to avoid falling behind and losing out on valuable projects.

Strange that Netflix refused to adopt a theater window for that considering they've done it for other films. Shit, that Red Notice film by the Rock was in theaters for a week lol

Lmao I read that wrong and thought it was people canceling the service

Apple TV doesn't have that big of a catalog for canceling shows to make that much of a difference compared to the others

Syfy is probably the worst. That network would cancel shows so quickly
