It was only a year and a half between the last NWA album and the chronic. In a short time they went from saying niggas for life after losing Cube to Dre introducing Snoop/daz/kurupt/nate

That was a huge shift in the culture. That must have been a major L for Eazy. He definitely bounced back with his album that dissed dre and then Bone but that was probably a tough time for him business wise
