Yeah I know, Chuck Freeze isn't a legend like Melle Mel, Caz or Moe Dee. But he was around and contributed to the birth of Hip Hop. He performed at the same shows as The Treacherous Three, Grandmaster Flash, Kurtis Blow, Busy Bee, etc.

I'm not sure if he was from Queens. If I had to guess I'd say he's from The Bronx.

Here's an article from the Daily News. It said he died at his home in Queens, but later in the article it implies that he was from The Bronx.
