Pt.2 Teddy Riley>>>>>>>Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis

Teddy was one of the producers on "Rump Shaker". Pharrell wrote Teddy's verse tho...

Yea this shit aint even close.

Make it last forever?
Slick Rick's The Show?
etc

That was one of the best interviews on the Breakfast Club. Had my attention the whole 90 minutes and they didn't even scratch the surface of the people / tracks he made (Heavy D, Blackstreet, Big Daddy Kane, Aretha Franklin, Hi-Five, Tevin Campbell, etc)

Teddy evolved wwith the times.

JJ&TL did not. Their sound was too easy to identify, and deviated very little from song to song.

They were one note as fuck, and played it too damn ssafe in an era thatencouraged eccentricity and imagination.

FUCK i hate envy

Teddy: you know the influence right
Envy: nah, whats the inflluence

Teddy: James Brown
Envy: of course

STFU
