Prince Markie Dee of The Fat Boys Passes Away

He had a song called The Aftermath that came out in 1992. I can remember DJs used to play it at the end of a party/nightclub

But for some reason I can't find a good link on Youtube. Any chance one of ya'll can find The Aftermath by Prince Markie Dee and post it here?

RIP. Markie D. Their beats were lowkey fire, like fire for a group with their novelty.

So glad I lost weight. Bye bye Buffy jokes.

Their first two albums were hot. They might not get much play nowadays but they are/were classics. The first album was short with 7 songs but every one of them was hot. The second album came the following year when most Hip Hop artists were still dropping singles.

They kinda fell off when they started doing commercials and comedy movies. They had the same skill as Run DMC or Whodini but they were marketed as a novelty act.

Did y’all know he co-wrote & produced Mary J’s Real Love? I sure the fuck didn’t. He did shit with Mariah Carey, J-Lo, Craig Mack and Mark Anthony. Crazy.

I just read that on the Fat Boys Wikipedia. Dude's production discography is on some Heavy D ish. A lot of Puff affiliates it seems, wonder how close he was with Bad Boy and them.

Daum, we losing alot of artists last couple years... RIP...

Dude wrote and produced for artists like Mariah and Mary J too, I think even wrote 'Real Love'...
