Posting kids on social media

Happened several times, sis in law, niece etc I had them take it all down from the gram. Worst was with my own sister, so called anti social media and pro privacy yet she shared my sons birth pic with all his names n shit I was furious.

Zero tolerance with no fucks given. Youll wont find any pics of my boy online.

Yall that do gotta stop man, yeah its your child but you dont own him or her and how would you fuckboys feel if you found out your parents posted your entire youth online for everybody and their madres to see? Respect your childs privacy.

Folks out there already killing there childrens future career opportunities n shit and they dont even know it.

You entitled to your own opinion tho, of course

I gotta homie that never post her child. I couldn't do anything but respect it.

As long as its family that took pics at a family event. Dont post pics I sent you or you seen on my Instagram. Dont post pics of my kids in the same day you post thirst traps, I will call u out on your page in front of niggaz, dont play wit me.

I don't mind if my family post here and there, but 95 percent of my family is hardly on social media so I don't worry about overexposure...

Some of them will post their kids or kids as a whole for trophies in exchange for social media notoriety.

I don't trip off of social media....

My kids do a lot of wild stuff, so if they get caught in the act, lol I just roll with it.

We are entering new territory. Social media was not around when any of us were kids (birth - 10yrs old). So for us, we may not care too much about posting kids. So for the kids growing up in this social media age, time will tell how it will affect them or not.

Exactly...

If all their peers have a online catalog of cute ass pics from their childhood that they can pull up at a moment’s notice, your kid might actually feel some typa way about NOT having that.

All they got to do is text me and I'll shoot them all the pics they want from their childhood.

I don't like it, but not to the point of stopping family from doing it. Probably because nobody is excessive with it.

When I first signed up to the gram, I posted pics of my kids. Then after a while wondered why.

I found that I only posted pics of my kids to show off to everyone else how great a parent I was. But I know I'm a great parent and don't need validation. So I stopped completely.

I think that's why people post kids. Just to show the world that THEY'RE awesome. It's not about the kids.

Now I judge people that do post their kids a lot in a negative way.

Of course

But dude before had implied that it may embarrass them or something down the road. I doubt that will be the case as long as the photos themselves are nothing crazy.

Definitely have called some people’s kids ugly or funny looking. If you’re gonna post them just make sure they’re cute.

I don’t have many pics of my son online like I used to but they were never crazy pics of him online anyway. Just birthday pics or random little pics from here and there or places we went.

My dad who lives out of town got a Facebook to see pics of my son. My grandmother as well. I don’t see the issue if you have friends and family on your page.

I can see this

Most of the people I'll send pics to, I just send through text

If it's a large collection, I'll make a link via Google photos and send that so they can view/save

My granny don’t even know what the fuck texting is and my daddy still got a flip phone.

On my IG you can see the rate I post my Son and it’s like that on FB. Sporadic.

I’ve had some weirdo share my son’s pic. That’s what did it for me.

I feel you about the granny situation

My remaining grandparents always just get a school/class pic of my daughter when I go to visit them

I'll take pics of her with them, and then frame them as gifts

I ain’t doing all that. I do plan on printing out his pics and making one big photo album one day.
