Post Malone cant stop culturevulturing

The reason he doesn't class himself as a rapper is because most hip-hop fans like on this forum for example forgot and are ignorant to the fact of rappers singing wether it be mainly on hooks or verses sometimes is an element of hip-hop music and hip-hop culture. So u can see why a Post Malone

Slick Rick did it in the late 80's the first rapper to sing on hooks then about 5 years later Bone Thugs and Andre-3000 popped up and did the same then about 5 years later Eminem, Z-Ro, Nelly, DMX, Devin The Dude and Lauryn Hill popped up and did the same then about 5 years later 50 Cent popped up and did the same then from the mid 2000's it just grew and grew with more rappers popping up doing the same singing on hooks

Then there is this factor Slick Rick, Bone Thugs, Andre-3000, Eminem, Lauryn Hill, DMX, Devin The Dude, 50 Cent all do the singing but they actually can all rap at a decent level lyrically and technically minimum while some like an Andre-3000 can at a high level and is one of the greatest technical lyricists ever while a DMX isn't even DMX can at least minimum rap at a decent level lyrically and technically. Also as much singing on hooks as these rappers have done they still have some songs where they are not singing. For example @Busta Carmichael can ignore a ''Mockingbird'' ''Hailie's Song'' ''Not Afraid'' from Eminem but enjoy a ''8 Mile Road'' ''The Way I Am'' ''Sing For The Moment''

But then when these rappers from the 2014 on wards era popped up that were singing Young Thug, Future, Rich Homie Quan, Chief Keef, Post Malone, G-Eazy, Dej Loaf when they rap it is not technically lyrical at all the technical lyricism when they do rap is as basic as u can get. So this was a red flag with hip-hop heads and purists not only do these rappers sing but when they do rap it is not lyrical and technical rapping at all it is basic simple but effective easy to understand rapping

Busta Carmichael labels rappers singing as gay basically soft which is just ignorance and insecurity but obviously most the general public in the world love it from rappers who are successful at singing hence why Rock Star is such a smash hit. So when Post was making this comment he was strictly speaking to the so called purists and heads like a @5th Letter for example

Hooks, singing, melodies are extremely important to me not just that but vital to me so i am always gonna be a fan of a Post Malone type rapper and love his music

So he's a rapper and also not a rapper to you in the same gaddamn post?

I said the reason he doesn't class himself as a rapper and gave an explination as to why he made this statement he made

To me he is a rapper of course he is because he raps in his verses. Anyone that raps is a rapper especially those who do it on a professional lavel recording albums/songs

But what he isn't is a lyrical and technical rapper which is obvious and that is fine not lyrical rappers have always existed in hip-hopsince the birth of the genre

knew something was off when he came out with a song called "white iverson"...surprised he hasn't been checked by Mysonne or someone of that elk yet lol

He got fuckin Joey Bad writing fuckin hits (Rockstar) for him, when the nigga should be runnin this white boy's pockets and getting him tfoh. And then the nigga turns around and gets mad at the genre, talkin bout, "Where y'all souls at?"

Nigga, where's YOUR soul at? You helping along the degradation of the genre by giving this faggot ass white boy material. Smh. Fuckin hypocrites, man.

This nigga's debut album is double platinum and White Iverson is 4x platinum as a single SMMFH. Black people aren't buying your albums but white kids are.

Btw the shit Post Malone does is where hiphhip music is going.... more and more non black artists are gonna copy his formula.....

The reason why Hip Hop is going that way is because no matter what type of music or sound its labeled as hip hop. And its not.

So for all you let em cook niggas. This is what you get when you allow tards in the kitchen

@rip.dilla What hip-hop head or black hip-hop head u know that takes Eminem seriously when he is making Pop albums singing and making songs for the ladies like Revival. Then before that MMLP 2 and Recovery then before those albums The Eminem Show

@Busta Carmichael wasn't holding back when he said he feels that type of music is ''gay'' basically soft because that type of music and albums with Eminem singing, love songs, commercial production, touching on personal subject matter is made for females those albums target audience isn't people like Busta or any other hip-hop head

Same goes for Drake and other rappers who do what Eminem does with the singing, personal subject matter, commercial hooks, commercial production

The classic old age saying. Most Eminem fans aren't hip-hop music fans are Pop music females and teenage girls

Busta isn't gonna share the same taste as these fans
