Las Vegas police have made an arrest for the first time in the 1996 killing of rapper Tupac Shakur. A person with first-hand knowledge of the arrest who wasn't authorized to publicly speak about the case told The Associated Press that Duane Davis was taken into custody Friday morning.

Keffe D is the last living person who was in the Caddy that did the drive-by. They can't technically prosecute him just because he's alive. They have to have undeniable evidence against him which they do after the raid and Keffe D talked enough in public t where his own confessions can finally be used against him.
