Lol @ coversing the season in 2 episodes. Vince was talking about people like you

This is gourmet food vs home cooked food. Much like this show, I think it tastes good, but I’m not impressed. I’d much rather have home cooking.

Sorry but I’m not entertained by a white lady complaining about a less than intriguing alien virus for 9 episodes.

I know it's only the first season, but this has been a pretty underwhelming ride so far. Every time I've gotten hyped for something in the show, it turned out to be a joke or something that was immediately explained away and subsequently forgotten about.

Even the final line of the episode, I guess it's supposed to be a mic drop moment, but atom bombs don't work that way, you can literally shoot it with a gun and nothing will happen, so it's useless sitting in her driveway. Also, we already knew they would have given her one because they said they would, and we know they were telling the truth because they can't lie. Which is another thing that's just kind of boring, a loving and caring hivemind that can't lie isn't very exciting. You scream too hard and a couple million people are liable to die, but they are all faceless, so who cares at the end of the day?

I think my expectations were a lil too high. I was expecting Breaking Bad levels of drama with a sci fi flavor, but this doesn't seem to be that kind of show, at all. I'm gonna to check out season 2, but I'm going in with very low expectations.

It's probably a plothole they'll clear up in season 2, but why can't she just tell them to give back her eggs and any progress made on converting her? If she can get them to give her an atom bomb, eggs shouldn't be that hard.

I’m thinking the one thing they can’t do is not spread. That’s like their prime objective. And they rationalize it by saying it’s for the person’s benefit.

I thought it was on some they wont convert her without her consent. Didn't say they needed her consent to do the research

This shit right here is one of my biggest problems. Every time you think some nefarious shit going on they immediately explain it away. There is almost zero intrigue.

Even her reasoning for getting the atom bomb was weak. Why does she always feel so betrayed by a hive mind that’s been straight up with her the whole time?

Yeah,
They're deceptive in the information they provide. They still find ways to evade telling the entire truth
This the entire bottom line I was getting at a few weeks ago. They may not lie, but they highly manipulative.

And they definitely broke Carol.... She is still plotting.... But they broke her..

If they got your dream girl and had her do w.e you wanted, could they have got yall?

Or you would've been running a harem like homie on the show?

Running a harem. I wasn’t very optimistic about humanity in the first place, might as well live like a king for a couple months. 😅
