I didn't realize this came out. I only seen one teaser prior. Definitely didn't know it was actually about a hivemind. 🤯

I remember looking up the definition and thinking it was about an alien invasion or something.

It's cool to see a concept like this in live action, usually it's reserved only for books, anime or video games.
 
Carol (Rhea Seehorn) is a successful writer who's in her im tired of writing fluff and want to write something real phase but before she can put that in motion an apocalyptic event happens. This plays out in various interesting and haunting ways and its highly entertaining. Writer and creator Vince Gilligan has once again created a series filled with dark humor and that made me question myself about what I would do in certain situations presented in this show. I can definitely see a blend of Contact, Invasion of the Body Snatchers and The Stepford Wives in the story threads. I do have questions about a couple of situations and im looking forward to other opinions of the show so far.

Yeah she seems like a miserable fuckin person lol.

Was interesting though how they mentioned their biological imperative on trying to convert her and the others but at the same time are willing to give her anything she wants including a nuke. lol they clearly had some reservations about it.. theres gotta be a limit to what they WONT do for the immune folks

Like she aint even asking them any good questions ffs. The entire worlds knowledge and she's just being a miserable fuck and not even curious to ask about some dope shit. She asked the other humans if they had any scientific background.. I bet if she asked them to help find a way to reverse what happened they might even try to help.. but nah.. she asks for grenades and nukes lol🤦🏽‍♂️

She has an entire live encyclopedia and a planetary RnD team at her disposal and she just sitting there being mad. Bitch put them mfs to work.

She needs to think bigger picture.
 
At some point you’re going to be like fuck it, it’s out of my control, might as well enjoy this as much as possible. She doesn’t seem to have any path to fixing anything. So it looks like this show is just going to be about her bitching about her situation the whole time.
