PLAYSTATION PlayStation 6/PSP3 (rumored for 2027)

I could care less about a PS6 or PSP3 LOL. They need exclusives and they decided to go against that so I will stay on PS5 as long as possible. They have not maxed out the PS5 so no need for a new generation that soon. Handhelds need Japanese games and they failed to deliver that many with the Vita so that is why it sold so poorly. Nothing is appealing about PlayStation anymore and its just the default since Xbox is trash and Switch doe snot have the third party games or a good network. Gaming just sucks all around now with PC gaming about to get too expensive due to the incoming RAM shortage. I will probably get a Switch 2 eventually, but anything past that is a no go.
 
I got my daughter a Portal for Christmas. It's kinda trash IMO, but I got it for her because that's what she wanted. It kinda decent if you have a Premium tier PS+ subscription because then you can cloud stream from a pretty big library of games. Outside of that it's mega trash.

Between the Portal and Sony's poor launch and abandonment of the PSVR2, I don't really have much hope for Sony going forward.
 
I got the original psp somewhere in my closet lol

PS6 will be interesting considering the cost of parts increasing. They could push people to pc
 
It would be nice if Sony held off on next generation until 2030 at least. Most ppl struggled like hell during the pandemic to get a PS5, I was lucky to get one when I did during that time.

I just copped PS5 digital slim for $400 + disc drive today. I had been thinking about upgrading my shit for about a year and said fuck it. I might take my OG console and trade that joint into GameStop for some credit.

I checked the trade-in value on GS website and they said it's like a little over $200 in store credit. I thought about selling it on eBay with some added games but I really don't trust those "want something for nothing" scamming ass bastards on there. I might trade-in that joint to Best Buy and do that instead.
 
I was expecting way more than 600 for playstation

No idea what number or name xbox is on. I'm guessing they'll likely have way better parts than playstation to justify that price. They may end up targeting more serious gamers to bridge the gap between console and pc. I'd prefer they waited longer to release ps6. Though that just means more games they get greedy and remaster for ps6
 
Ive been gaming since the original nintendo ... this has been the most modest(damn near lateral) console generation transition regarding graphics capabilities etc ever

This aint the time to talk about 6 lol

Gamestop might eventually do a promo when you trade a ps5 toward a pro for more credit then they typically offer.. i know they did something similar with the ps4 my junk was making noise and out of damn there struggling with memory and I took advantage and traded it in. Plan to do the same if they offer it in the future and go up to the pro.

Yeah that's another thing I can't stand the OG PS5 makes a lot of noise. The og console is too damn big & heavy and takes up way too much physical space. I had my joint for 5 yrs and I figured it was time for a smaller model.
