I guess whenever I decide to buy a PS5 I'll be paying $100 more b/c I'm not going full digital until they start implementing a digital trade-in system for digital games.
I like the PS+ Collection library not a bad selection to start from. My only concern with Sony is going overkill in making remastered games. Some were cool and some didn't need to be remade last gen.

the digital upgrade is mad Shady! if you by the disc cyberpunk, for example, you won't get a free upgrade on the ps5 digital.
They are exactly the same but sony treats them as different consoles.

Yeah I'm not a fan of the price jump in games either. Just like when 360 dropped in 2005 MS started making them in HD. So now they are being developed in 4K+HDR they jump another $10.
Gaming is just becoming more expensive. If I decide to continue gaming, I'm NOT paying $70+ for physical games. Luckily the price of games tend to drop within 2-3 months where the prices are reasonable.

The disc version is the better of the two imo. Nevertheless, there isn’t any game where I feel I need to run out and cop this at launch so I’ll see where they at in year 2

Cartridge games new were $70-$100 so this isn’t anything new. If anything that’s more incentive to get the disc version because retailers will always have sales to make room for newer games

Yeah and I might even wait a little longer b/c knowing Sony & MS they might drop upgraded versions of their consoles in the middle of the gen cycle. Just like Sony did with the PS4.
I never buy next gen consoles within the first year because of bugs and the price of the console and lack of new games. They just rehash shit from last gen until they build up the game library with new stuff.
