After reading the whole article I’m not really worried

Plus if mine is still good after getting it a few weeks after launch then I’m sure I would’ve had an issue by now especially with how much I use it

I hear you, but the concern based on the reports is that the seal that keeps the liquid metal contained isn't that good and can be compromised pretty easily. So, your shit might be perfectly fine now, but if you move it or jostle it for whatever reason, the seal could break and you wouldn't really know until your shit was permanently damaged.

Word but article said only used PS5s had this issue which means multiple owners and even then that issue is a very small percentage of consoles . I also don’t know if it’s an issue in first generation PS5 (again, I Got mine within the first month of release) so idk if they changed some components

also also my PS5 has never shifted or moved because it’s in my TV stand and not even out to be hit or moved.

Not saying it’s not a legit issue but it’s not this scary thing to worry about imo


I can’t lay it down anyways lol

worst case scenario I’ll buy another one next year and by then that’s damn near 4 years later
