I'm wondering if Wilfork may get in that early. 2 SB rings on pretty dominant defenses. And he can get some sorta pass on stats because of his position/role.

Dware was 7th all time in sacks when he retired... peppers and Suggs past him because they played longer

If my memory serves me correctly but I remember him and peppers were close.. he's 9th right now

He was around 11th. Peppers played later, but had him beat even if he didn't.

i get what you're saying. But even in there wouldn't he retire 8th, with Suggs passing him? Peppers didn't have 21 sacks in his last 2 seasons.

Yeah, he retired 8th on the list... he got up to 7th until peppers passed him in his last season then suggs past him in 2019..

With that said I can't see how people dont think he's first ballot he was dominated as a pass rusher in his prime. His later years was injury prone.

Only player I felt was more dominant was JJ watt in that era
