Peace Of Mind

I love to read.
I keep a journal.
I love to hike. (Summertime)
Camping always lets you get away from your everyday life and away from your electronics and sometimes I really need that.
An hour of Yoga is always good.
I write a little poetry from time to time.
(Nothing serious)
Music is essential when doing all the above except maybe while reading.
 
Danced to Man in the Mirror in the grocery store today. It’s always that one bystander who claps for me.
 
outside of narcotics and alcohol, what are some things u do to regain inner peace?

What do u do to relax and let ur mind flow?

What are some natural supliments, teas, foods can u suggest to fellow ABW members?
honestly...none of that brings me inner peace.

i need to shut off the world and be one with silence or nature.

so either a beach or mountain vacation.

i just go sit and listen to the waves or go high enough that im over the clouds and i listen to the wind blow.

shit is mad calming for me.

did some of my best thinking and planning in both places.
 
I center myself by focusing my thoughts and actions towards solutions.

When I realize I'm off balance mentally or spiritually is when I realize that I'm being distracted by a particular problem and not focusing my energy and my thoughts on a solution of that problem. Because at the end of the day every problem has a solution whether I'm aware of a solution or not. When I don't know what a solution is I focus on the fact that regardless there is a solution and work with what I got until I can find a solution.

Also music is the only thing I really relate to so that helps a lot too...

As far as food goes, our bodies are machines and every machine needs the right chemicals to function at it's highest level so regularly eating right and living a healthy lifestyle (exercise too) is important for the mind and body to stay centered.
