outside of narcotics and alcohol, what are some things u do to regain inner peace?

What do u do to relax and let ur mind flow?

What are some natural supliments, teas, foods can u suggest to fellow ABW members?
 
camomile tea is my shit, I know it makes you tired but I had to work on something high pressure the other night and it calmed my nerves. oats help too.

when I wanna treat myself and have some me-time, I put a drop of pure peppermint essential oil into my hot chocolate. not powder hot chocolate but block chocolate melted into milk - peppermint and hot water don't mix, so make sure water aint in the drink.

yoga of course too.

Above all, I dance. It’s the go to thing for me.

After that, either talk to one of the three and a half people I usually vent too.

Craft or create something. Lately it’s been these earrings, I’ve been making.

And some good books but i havent read anything really good in awhile i like mostly fiction but not too heavy on the fantasy and historic stuff
 
My gym time...

Its when I feel the most centered. Gym could be packed but im so in the zone that bitch might as well be empty...
 
I write in my journal to see how my thoughts come out. Some times it's a poem, a haiku, or some lyrics. It's cathartic for me.

Watching fights on the DVR or something on Netflix.

I center myself by focusing my thoughts and actions towards solutions.

When I realize I'm off balance mentally or spiritually is when I realize that I'm being distracted by a particular problem and not focusing my energy and my thoughts on a solution of that problem. Because at the end of the day every problem has a solution whether I'm aware of a solution or not. When I don't know what a solution is I focus on the fact that regardless there is a solution and work with what I got until I can find a solution.

Also music is the only thing I really relate to so that helps a lot too...

As far as food goes, our bodies are machines and every machine needs the right chemicals to function at it's highest level so regularly eating right and living a healthy lifestyle (exercise too) is important for the mind and body to stay centered.

Write rhymes
Design (graphic)
Rap music (Mobb)
Play football (indoor league)
 
Music BUT tbh to he most soothing thing I do to calm me down lol and this may sound weird but folding clothes gives me peace of mind. That's weird but I like doing it and keeps me centered because no matter what troubles I have or bullshit I'm in folding clothes pretty much simplifies life for me.
