Pierce game was so lazy looking, and physically he looked so lack luster in physique. That he seemed like he shoulda sucked but he didnt.

To those of us who know the game and remember how good he was up until prolly 2011 or 2012...properly rated. To everybody else? Underrated. In his own mind, SUPER overrated.

Averaged a career of 19 ppg when that was his "speciality" and even in his prime years at best he was a top 5 SF but never dominated as a top 2 small forward at his position. His win shares was poor with Celtics and was nearly traded because his Danny Grainger game wasn't enough but seemed sexy in a weak Eastern conference in the early -mid2000s. Got lucky with trades and balled out in the playoffs in the peak of his career.

IMO if the trade to the Celtics never happened what would be his place in history? Is all star years where he was the" guy" would place him where in history?

Put someone like Jerry Stackhouse in his position and Stackhouse would of probably won more (if not including injuries)

Pierce finishes to me as a top 20 SF of all time.

True @ the disrespected part, but I think Kareem is a consensus top 5 player.
