Papoose on why Nas is downplayed

Papoose from my hood.
Lived on the same Street, different block. Fabolous from the same street too but on the Brevoort Projects side.

The same street Jigga shout outs on
"Brooklyn We Go Hard."

The same Street Mike Tyson use to drive through with his bike and his people behind him.

LIve right around the corner from Chris Rock and Jackie Gleason old houses.

So much history
I know you got a gang of stories.

People like what they like. I don't know any niggas sitting at home like 'Man that nigga Nas is nice. But I gotta pretend he isn't, cuz if I admit he's nice...that'll be shining the light on all other other niggas who NOT nice.'

He's right

Nas is heads and shoulders better than everybody else. His discography is only matched by a few people.

Jay
The Roots

Who else has been making albums consistently for 25 years?

Not 2Pac
Not Biggie

Not Outkast
Not Rakim
Not KRS
Not Eminem
Not LL Cool J

Seriously, give me some names of people that have been consistent for 25 years? I'm sure there's a few people I'm missing but add on if you can.

They dead nigga! LLS

How they gonna keep making new music when they're dead? Should've left those 2 off your list.

Nas only gets downplayed by people who think it’s tha “cool” thing to do so they can be a contrarian...plain and simple...and while I’m not about to get into tha whole Jay v Nas thing again and I’m not saying with out a doubt that Nas is tha GOAT...in every rap conversation I’ve ever had he’s always been named dropped

I remember the Nas Lost movement.

But by virtue of the fact that a Nas Lost movement existed shows how popular he was.
